The judicial system of the country in recent times has received some applause. Not only is the supremacy of the law gradually being implemented but also the sanity it brings along with it.
As the events of the Arms Deal Scandal stated unfolding recently, it sent clear yellow cards to other politicians on the field. An indication that there is a change in the game play. Caution to money laundry, inappropriate use of public fund and other corrupt practices. It was a stepping stone to a corruption-minimized society. Yes because to totally get rid of the word "corruption"  is as difficult or rather impossible as making a sickle cell patient an AA. However the fear of Buhari is the beginning of the fear of EFCC. It is the fear of the former because the latter has always been there before now watching the game-play as spectator rather than a referee.

When the Dasuki case began, people took interest in the case. Not necessarily because of the money involved. After all we have seen and heard people do away with more huge some of money in this same country. So the people's interest was in the endpoint of the story which had some influential personalities in the cast. So the story became interesting when we saw the names as cast, starring Former president Jonathan, Dasuki, Dokpesi, Alison Madueke, Okonjo Iweala and others. Some others names were unfolding as the story continued including Oliseh Metuh.  Some have been granted bail by EFCC while being probed. Even accomplices were called to answer the EFCC, which is very normal.

However between Dasuki and Metuh is the latest spotlight of the story as to why the latter should appear in court with handcuffs and not granted bail. It's rather embarrassing and a pity. The application of whatever law that encourages that should be with the same gravity to all, particularly the key individuals in the mess irrespective of their political affiliation. There should be fairness and unbiased attitude towards all the players, taking cognizance of each individual's involvement.
