Have you ever wondered why men cheat or why most married men are unfaithful to their spouse? Even when some of them are married to very beautiful and good wives, they still look outside. Infidelity seems to be a prevalent phenomenon in marriages and relationships these days. There is high rate of broken marriages due to this act. Whom to blame is not the subject of this article rather why such act. 
Infidelity is simply a betrayal of trust and love. A situation where a man secretly has an affair with another woman either in terms of sexual activity, hanging out, intimate phone calls and text messages. This is also known as extra-marital affair in marriage or cheating in relationship. Although women cheat but the truth is that it is more in men. The rate of adultery is on the high side in men. This could be for some reasons. 
By biological sexual make, a woman has more control over her sexual appetite than a man. That explains why infidelity is more in men than in women. Most women can stay in a distant relationship and still be faithful, but it is difficult for most men to be faithful in the same situation. This is simply natural depending on each individual. 
Wrong choice of spouse.  Men are moved by what they see. Most men made choices of their spouse based on physical attributes which were appealing to them. However, because human emotions fluctuate, with time the physical appeal tends to reduce and the attraction fades. At such point the man no more delights in his spouse and the desire is out. 
To some people, they believe that men are adventurous by nature and like trying out new things. This also include women. The nature of a man is such that he wants to explore something different always. 
Alcoholism is a serious cause of infidelity. Most men that are into alcohol are into women as well. For some reasons alcohol increases Sexual urge when one is intoxicated 
Infidelity can be induced through a nagging wife, Marital crises, poor cooking skills, inability of the woman to satisfy her husband and lack of home management. 
By and large, for whatever reason, infidelity in marriage or relationship is a habit.
